Mt Soledad is our Light Roast coffee from Guatemala. These beans are true to the Central America region, with a full-body, rich chocolate notes, and toffee-like sweetness. These coffees are known to retain their unique flavors even with a darker roast, which is why we use a different Guatemalan bean in our Espresso.
Huehuetenango coffee is grown in the highlands of northern Guatemala. Coffee from this region is considered to be the best and most distinguished in the country. The bean we choose to roast is picked from 2% of the farm’s lot for its unique standout characteristics, giving it the nickname “Guatemalan Gold”.
Mt Soledad is a breathtaking view from one of the highest points in La Jolla. From the top, you can see almost all of San Diego and parts of Tijuana. The lookout is also home to a Military Memorial for Veterans of the Korean War.
