Ethiopia Mulish – Natural Process

Ethiopia’s Guji Zone is home to some of the country’s most celebrated coffees, and Mulish Natural captures that reputation beautifully. This coffee bursts with fruit-forward flavors, showing layers of strawberry jam, blueberry, and citrus alongside creamy cocoa undertones. The natural process, where ripe cherries are carefully dried in the sun, intensifies its sweetness and gives the cup a rich, juicy mouthfeel. At high elevations, cooler nights slow cherry maturation, allowing more complex sugars and aromatics to develop — resulting in clarity, vibrancy, and floral notes that linger in every sip.

Farm & Producer Story: 

The Mulish Washing Station serves as a hub for hundreds of smallholder farmers in the Guji highlands, many cultivating coffee on plots less than a hectare. These farmers tend to heirloom varietals that have been passed down for generations, often intercropped with other subsistence crops. The washing station ensures careful sorting and drying, maintaining quality from farm to export. By working collectively, producers in Mulish are able to share resources and bring coffees to market that highlight the incredible diversity of Ethiopian terroir. This dedication results in a coffee that reflects both the natural environment and the cultural heritage of Ethiopia’s coffee heartland.

We ship Monday - Friday. Orders placed after 1pm on Fridays will ship on Monday.
