The Renacimiento R.L. Cooperative is located in La Aldea Xojolá, a
community that began forming in 1825. The cooperative was founded in 1987 by 26 members, the cooperative initially focused on producing and commercializing cardamom. They expanded into coffee production in 1994, and despite the challenges posed by the coffee rust crisis in 2005, they played a key role in establishing the Federación Comercializadora de Café Especial de Guatemala (FECCEG), where they were founding members.

The cooperative is deeply committed to sustainable agriculture and community development. They prepare organic inputs in community bio-factories to enhance cultivation and control pests.

They also practice apiculture with native bees, and manage goats for
organic fertilizer, meat, and milk production. The women in the
community contribute by running coffee nurseries to renew plantations, supported by FECCEG, which provides essential materials.

Additionally, the cooperative supports gender equity training,
microcredit projects for women entrepreneurs, and family organic
gardens to improve diets.

Aldea Xojolá is a culturally rich community with traditional festivals
and education facilities, and the cooperative is integral to both its
economic and social fabric.

We ship USPS priority mail. We offer free shipping on orders over $40. 

We ship Monday - Friday. Orders placed after 1pm on Fridays will ship on Monday.
